UPK Registration Information

Register for the Universal Prekindergarten lottery!
The lottery closes March 7 at 12pm
We are happy to announce that Syosset Central School District is going to be offering Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) again in the 2025-2026 school year. Children must be 4 years of age on or before December 1, 2025 to be eligible to participate. This program is fully funded by a New York State Department of Education grant.

The Universal Pre-K program will be a full-day program, running Monday through Friday, offered through partnerships with Universal Prekindergarten centers located within the district. There is NO COST to participate in this program. Parents and guardians are responsible for providing transportation for their child. The curriculum follows NYS Prekindergarten Standards and is taught by New York State Certified Teachers.
