Variety Child Learning Center

Variety Child Learning Center (VCLC) has been providing programs and services to young children and their families since 1966.  We offer a range of programs and services to families from ages 3-8. Variety’s UPK program includes SCIS inclusionary classes in which children with and without IEPs learn side by side.  Variety Child Learning Center promotes development, education, and inclusion for all children.

Our curriculum program follows NYS Pre-Kindergarten Next Generation Learning Standards. VCLC will work closely with the district to incorporate specific curriculums to ensure that your child will acquire the foundations of reading, mathematics, science, social studies and social emotional development in a setting that nurtures natural environment learning opportunities. 

Daily schedules include learning centers and opportunities for play and social interaction. Each classroom is equipped with a Smartboard for interactive learning. Children will have the opportunity to use any of our four outdoor playgrounds, two indoor play areas and the library.  They can participate in specials once a week including music, dance movement, art, technology, and Soccer Shots. 

Our teachers are NYS certified. A registered nurse is on site during the school day.
