Blooming Buds Childcare Learning Center has been part of the community for 22 years. We offer care to children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our hours of operation are 6:30am-7pm. Our school will be like a second home for your children because we do everything in our power to ensure that their physical, emotional, social, and educational needs are met every day. We recognize the need to provide equity in educational opportunities for each child. We balance this need by including a range of approaches to learning, respecting diversity, and encouraging best practices. Blooming Buds Childcare Learning Center is a tight-knit community where we prepare your growing four year old for Kindergarten.

Our lunch menu is completely organic, healthy, and made on premises. Lunch will be available to purchase daily or you have the option of bringing food from home. Blooming Buds Childcare Learning Center is a peanut/tree nut free facility so please keep that in mind. This will be our 4th year hosting the UPK program for the Syosset Central School District. The program starts at 9am and ends at 2pm from Monday through Friday. We offer before and after school care with flexible weekly or hourly options.

Our UPK Curriculum
We are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education that meets NY state standards and fosters a love for learning. We proudly follow “The Experience Curriculum,” a research-based curriculum. This curriculum emphasizes hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking skills, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning. As a state-approved curriculum, “The Experience Curriculum” ensures that our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in school and beyond. Our curriculum system uniquely weaves 35 research-based skills into playful games and projects. As children participate, they naturally grow in all areas of development, including social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. In addition to the Experience curriculum we introduce the children to Fundations and Heggerty to build strong foundational reading and writing skills. We offer special activities once a week, including Karate, Soccer Shots, Amazing Athletes, Ballet, and Music and Movement, to further enrich your child’s experience. Additionally, our curriculum includes cultural learning, with opportunities for students to learn languages such as sign language, Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and Hindi. Yoga and Meditation are also incorporated into many of our classes to promote physical and mental well-being.

Daily Updates
We understand how much you miss your little ones while you’re at work. That’s why we make it a priority to capture special moments throughout the day and share them with you using the Brightwheel app.

Special Events and Holiday Care
Every month, we host at least one special event to celebrate the uniqueness of each child and family in our community. From Crazy Hat Day to Pajama Day, Disney Day, and Crazy Hair Day, there’s always something fun happening at our school. We also organize special events such as Muffins for Mom, Donuts with Dad, summer and end-of-the-year carnivals, and many more events to honor and bring together our wonderful families. Additionally, we offer holiday care for the days when the School District is closed, providing working families with reliable and consistent care throughout the year. We also offer a fun-filled and educational summer camp.  We are excited to welcome you and your child to Blooming Buds Learning Center, where we are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for every child to thrive.
