Prekindergarten Students with Disabilities
Prekindergarten children with disabilities are capable of learning, achieving, and making developmental progress, and may need specially designed instruction and/or related services designed to address their disability and support their participation in appropriate activities with typically-developing peers. Related services may include occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and/or physical therapy. Each Prekindergarten child with a disability has an IEP which documents their individual goals, supports, and services as determined by needs and strengths. Prekindergarten students with disabilities may have alternate goals outlined in their IEP.
